Upkeeping the Highest Standards!

74 G.A. Limited is a business consulting firm, not a credit rating agency, and therefore, we are ultimately regulated by you, our clients. However, we do hold to the highest standards of credit rating methodological settings.

Our governance processes (see here), where applicable, are guided by the five (5) principles of the World Bank's General Principles for Credit Reporting (September 2011) (see here). The principles are:

(1) Data – Credit reporting systems should have relevant, accurate, timely, and sufficient data (including positive data);

(2) Data Processing: Security and Efficiency – Systems should have rigorous standards of security and reliability, and be efficient;

(3) Governance and Risk Management – Governance arrangements should ensure accountability, transparency, and effective risk management (see governance checklist above);

(4) Legal and Regulatory Environment – The framework should be clear, predictable, proportionate, and supportive of consumer rights; and

(5) Cross-Border Data Flows – Cross-border data transfers should be facilitated where appropriate, with adequate safeguards.

Additionally, as our models are regularly updated and calibrated (see here) to deliver unparalleled estimation completeness and accuracy to the 'Big 3' (Standard & Poors, Moodys and Fitch) credit ratings; by virtue of this, we abide with all applicable methodological guidelines set forth in The International Organization of Securities Commission's (IOSCO's) Code of Conduct Fundamentals for Credit Rating Agencies (see here).

Specific country regulatory approval is a continuous process and will be sought as per individual market demands.
